Our Pastors:

Pastor Mike Schout

Pastor Mike was born and raised in Zeeland and is passionate about advancing the gospel in this community. One might say he’s been feeling the zeel long before that became a slogan. He grew up in a loving Christian home and sensed his need for Christ at an early age. However, the gospel really started to explode in his heart as he learned the depths of his sin, the holiness of God, and the sheer mercy of the cross.

After graduating from Zeeland High School in 1999, he attended Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA before sensing the call to pastoral ministry. He attended Westminster Seminary California, during which time he met his best friend and wife, Naomi. Since then, the Lord has taken them to Ripon, CA where Mike served as an associate pastor at Zion United Reformed Church and to Alto, MI where he served as senior pastor of Grace United Reformed Church for ten years before being called as a church planter of Harvest OPC in October 2018. Mike and Naomi have four children: Sadie, Eli, Lydia, and Titus.

Pastor Mike is amazed by God’s grace in his life, and is humbled to have the opportunity to serve a vibrant, Reformed, multiplying, and gospel saturated church in the town he loves. In addition to preaching the gospel, his interests include: spending time with his family, cheering for the Michigan Wolverines, and frequenting Chick-Fil-A.

Pastor Mark Richline

Pastor Mark desires above all else to be a servant of Jesus Christ as much as he is already a son of our heavenly Father. He grew up in New Jersey where his parents and pastors led him to trust in Jesus at a young age for the forgiveness of his sin and life everlasting.

After completing his undergraduate degree at Messiah College, Mark followed the Lord’s call to Japan for two years assisting missionaries whose self-sacrificial love for sinners moved him to pursue the gospel ministry. Since his graduation from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, Mark has planted and pastored reformed, Christ-centered churches in California as well as in Uruguay, South America. Now he delights to serve Grace Fellowship Church as their new Pastor of Care and Outreach.

Mark and Jeni have enjoyed more than thirty years of marriage and are wonderfully blessed with four adult children and five grand-children. Whenever he can, Mark loves to read, journal, watch movies, go for long walks with Jeni and play with their grandkids.
